INSTRUCTIONS
Task 3: Final Output
Based on the acquired data and analysis, we were instructed to utilize the data that we have collected over the past few weeks to produce a final product relates to our chosen topic on The Art of Japanese Tea Ceremonies. Hence, we started off by delegating the task among our group members where 3 of us work on the teacups design & packaging mockups, whereas 3 others work on the promotional poster. Each idea and design process is to be supported by a short rationale. Below are our progress on designing that we've been working on.
Part 1: Teacups & Packaging
Alif, Adlina, and Shofwa worked on the teacups design as well as the packaging, below are the outcome.
Teacups Chawan Pottery Design
Teacups Design Mockup
All of the teacups and packaging mockups are done by Alif.
Teacups Packaging Design Mockup
We decided to name our brand 'Chanoyu' with our four messages on the packaging - Harmony, Integration, Values, and Minimalistic.

Part 2: Promotional Poster
While the other members Naura, Lulu, and Shamiella are working on the promotional poster, below are the outcome. "Chanoyu" in which it represents our brand, we aim to attract the attention of the public through advertising, billboards as well as social media postings. Hence, each poster represents its own design according to the teacups.

General Feedback: Complete the blog on Friday and submit the final submission by 5pm.
Specific Feedback: Mr. Vinod suggests that we make something physically instead of a flat illustration or 2d as creating a physical creation could express our traditional ideas of making Chawan Pottery.
REFLECTION
Experience: Although we struggled a bit at the beginning relating to our theme and topic. In the end, we figured it out together as a team and everyone worked hard for this final outcome. As we wanted to do the pottery teacups physically in 1st place, we end up with a 3D mockup as all of our members are not available in KL, and even so the class for pottery is somewhat pricey if we were to proceed to make it them physical.
Observation: My groups and I are all satisfied with the final output of the products as it conveys the message to the audience in which we aim to educate the modern generation on Japanese Tea Culture as well as implementing the Wabi-Sabi minimalism look with a modernism touch into it.
Findings: All of us found this entire task very challenging at the beginning as all of us (even my classmates) are confused about what to do next? as well as finding it hard to relate the theme to our topic and we had to narrow it down specifically on the chosen topic. All in all, due to time constraints and other endless assignments from other modules, my groups and I managed to output at the end and we made it to the final submission. Coming from different majors and not knowing each one of them, eventually through this assignment we became close and I'm super proud that everyone did well for this task. We learned many things throughout this module. And not forget to mention- tonnes of advice, suggestions, and feedback from Mr. Vinod (hi) which was extremely helpful for all of us.
