Steps: 

#1:  Marquee Tool-  Crop the references image (skin & hair) 

#2: Select skin & hair color using the eyedropper tool (5 by 5 average) - highlight, midtone, shadow

#3: Using quick selection tool + mask hair

#4: Overlay and refine edge brush

#5: Create new layer (solid color) + apply blending mode (soft light)

#6:  Repeat 3-5 steps for skin, fur, background

#7: Create new solid layer + invert (eyes, lips, teeth, earring)

PRACTICAL

As for our practical, we were required to choose 1black & white picture prepared by Mr. Martin and Mr. Fauzi. By utilising the same steps during the practical session, we were asked to apply the steps that we did previously for tutorial,

RELFECTION

I truly enjoyed this exercise although it takes a lot of time for the minor little details- I get to experimented and explored a lot from this exercise. Big thanks to Mr. Martin and Mr. Fauzi for preparing and demonsrating on how to edit during class session, and Mr. Martin's video helped me a lot during the process of recolouring the photo.
